About Aaron Short

Hello World! I am a father, husband, wanderlust struck adventurer. and a mental health professional. I have held a variety of jobs in my life before investing in the healing profession I find myself in now (US Coast Guard, FBI Contractor, Bike Messenger. even attempted to get hired on to a pet crematory!), but once I found counseling I knew I had arrived home. Within that sphere I have also led a varied life, doing everything from supervised visitations for DHS, EMDR therapy, assisting in Equine facilitated psychotherapy (5 stars on that one), product development, leading and managing my teams, facilitating online therapy, and now owning my own fully remote counseling/ coaching/ consulting practice. I love a challenge, I thrive in ambiguity, I need autonomy, and above all I love caring for people well - be they coworkers or clients. Thanks for reading if you are still here, have a beautiful day!
