About Aaron Sneegas

As a Lead Network Origination Operator I have multiple roles within the Network Control department of ESPN including: Senior Coordinator, Team Leader, Network Associate Director, Master Control Operator, and Network Coordinator. The details of these positions can be found below but they all essentially boil down to one thing, my ability to adapt to new adapt to challenging situations and lead others through those events. In my current role I am the technology lead for our group responsible for managing technology projects, technology training, and managing maintenance and support of our group's automation and technical systems. The essence of my career in television production has been learning, or creating new workflows or operational areas, refining those areas, and then teaching others to use those areas. My ability to boil down technical information to its most essential elements and to then be able to explain those technical elements to non-technical people has allowed me to work on and oversee some of the most prestigious events in sports television including Monday Night Football, the NBA Playoffs, and the College Football National Championship Megacast. It has also enabled me to work with engineers and senior managers in developing new operational areas, new programming, and new workflows for developing technology.
