About Aaron Snell

I am a multidiscipline individual with a diverse background, which includes the Department of National Defence,Water/Wastewater Treatment Operations and most recently as a pipeline operator. From training in the military, I have cultivated strong leadership, operational, maintenance, mechanical and technical skill sets, which have been hugely beneficial in enhancing my current role. Since coming to EPCOR, I have surpassed supervisors’ expectations with a natural ability to approach challenges with a “big picture” perspective that allows me to troubleshoot systems, rather than focus on individual issues. Previous experience includes working as a Fire System Technician, where I successfully revitalized the company’s fire system service business. Dedicated to professional development, I am able to train and mentor individuals and crews, incorporating knowledge from my vast competencies; I will attain my Water Treatment Operator II certification in November 2013. My interpersonal style is one of my greatest strengths, as I am able to disseminate information, maintain cohesion between various teams and crews, and demonstrate excellence in conflict management through respectful communication. Consistently adhere to environmental and workplace safety, I have been responsible for implementing several procedural changes, which have created a more efficient and safer work environment.
