About Aaron Stevens

Looking for a new challenge! I am currently a custody detention officer for Heddlu Gwent Police and have accumulated several years experience. This role has developed myself as a person and also my skillset exponentially by learning how to work in a challenging environment and embracing the professionalism needed for the role. Alongside being a custody detention officer I work as a doping control officer for UK Anti doping. This has included working with and around high profile individuals and athletes which requires the highest level or accuracy completing tasks. I have recently completed a leadership programme with gwent police and previously completed a talent management programme after being put forward for performing at a high level. This has motivated me to progress in my career and has made me open to opportunities outside of my current organisation. Finally a bit about me i am a massive sports fan and love to play sports every opportunity i get, especially my newest challenge Jui Jitsu which requires great persitantance and hard work. I also have a fantastic family who I love to spend time with including one daughter, a loving wife and 2 dogs. We also love to travel as they say "travel broadens the mind".
