About Aaron Streit

I am currently dedicating my interests in mechanical engineering to seeking a new position in the central Texas area where I eagerly anticipate an opportunity to maintain a positive contribution to my distinguished fields of study. Following a nontraditional path through academia and maintaining a record of academic excellence within the department, I was honored with dual degrees from West Virginia University’s College of Engineering in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. As a professional and as a student, I have been entrusted with several leadership roles and have executed the responsibilities of those positions successfully and energetically. Moving forward, I am extremely motivated and excited to begin an extended and devoted career with a progressive-thinking company and aim towards opportunities to manifest positive influences within the engineering community at a professional and personal level. I am particularly motivated by the promise of dynamic interactive employment where an enthusiasm for hands-on experiences and systems improvement may be demonstrated. As a representative of the engineering disciplines, I strive to apply the skills I’ve attained both academically and professionally to further its agenda of innovation, while simultaneously enhancing a personal value within my team that propagates through levels beyond. I place utmost priority on collaborative relationships with colleagues in complementary fields to establish mutually beneficial and profitable professional relationships. My recent professional and past part-time employment has provided several years of positive practical experience regarding project and time management, client relationships, sales, coordination as part of a goal-oriented unit and provides a concrete foundation upon which to build a valuable professional engineer.
