About Aaron Sudholt

I have had the privilege of working as a business analyst and assistant product manager for Tista Science and Technology, working for America's military veterans since 2018. Tista provides technological and project planning expertise to organizations like the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, helping increase value and performance for those who have served our country. For example, the Caregiver Records Management Application (CARMA) product was successfully finished to sustainment in August 2023. My focus has been on building products in a large organizational environment that aligns with Scrum techniques, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) software development within a large organization, and more than 12 years total of steering work across government enterprises. I leverage my communications background as the keystone of what I bring to my work. I use Agile training to help guide the creation of key components of software across high-tension development cycles. I have managed the expectations of clients and shared their needs with contracting teams that were sometimes not initially in agreement of the path forward. I have written user stories, managed scrums, organized information and helped ensure that my clients products kept their authorizations to operate within the requirements of government and congressional mandates. As an example, we determined we needed to improve communications with our clients and I launched a team newsletter to share developments. The techniques I employed included building user stories, managing sprint cycles, researching and organizing tasks to commit changes and improve authorization times, explored client requirements and prioritized those based on development requirements as shared by programmer teams. Per SAFe framework, these were implemented in a weighted shortest jobs first manner, ensuring that the most important and fastest improvements were done earliest. The teams I have worked on have received the highest ratings from the government, including receiving a VA Challenge Coin in 2022. Let’s connect and discuss what I can bring to your organization.
