Detective Lieutenant - Professional Standards Unit / Internal Affairs 2/2017 - Present The main objective of the Professional Standards Unit is the investigation of criminal complaints against members of Law Enforcement in the county. I am responsible for conducting interviews of witnesses, victims, and suspects. Due to the sensitive nature of these investigations, public scrutiny is very high and our investigations are completed to a very high standard. I am also responsible for conducting all internal administrative investigations on all employees of my agency that may result in disciplinary action.
