About Aaron Tarin

Aaron Tarin is a Utah lawyer acknowledged by his colleagues as one of the leading lawyers in the complex world of "crimmigration" that arises when U.S. Immigration and Criminal law collide. He has successfully litigated several key precedent cases in various jurisdictions, including the Utah Supreme Court, Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA). When he isn't writing legal arguments, Aaron moonlights crunching computer code with other legal technologists around the world who believe that emerging technologies hold the keys to providing greater access to justice. He is a thought leader in the emerging fields of machine learning and legal artificial intelligence, which are rapidly disrupting the way legal services are delivered. From his early beginnings as an Immigration Court law clerk while in law school, to his later service fighting against anti-immigrant laws as the Executive Chairman of the Utah Chapter of the American Lawyers Association (AILA), Aaron has dedicated himself to furthering the rights of immigrants and minorities.
