Hello, my name is Aaron. Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I recently moved from Ireland to to Vancouver on a 2 year work visa. I came to this country to pursue a career graduated that fulfills me and that I can be passionate about. I graduated from Technological University Dublin in 2019 with a BA 2nd Honours 1st Division (2.1) The core modules of this course were journalism, video production, editing, music production, marketing, film & tv production and radio. In my spare time I produce music for both myself and artists I collaborate with. I also freelance DJ on occasion, performing at wedding events, birthdays, local events and pubs. I have presented my own radio shows an interviewed guests. I was also a chair member within the radio society in college. I was offered a one-month internship programme with Spin 1038, a prominant pop radio station in Dublin. This was a great benefit because it offered me a brief but effective hands-on experience within the industry. After completing this internship, I was given the opportunity to podcast host in a prominent Dublin publication, District Magazine, who specialise in alternative music. I'm also a musician. I write, record and produces my own music, primarily Hip-Hop and RnB however I've done other genres in the past. I have also directed and edited my own music video which can be found on my profile. I've worked on music for student films in TUD also. Relevant key skills I learnt in college include video editing, photoshop, music production and mixing, DJing, interview preparation and the conduction of am interview. I am proficient in using the following applicationa; Ableton, Protools, Premiere Pro, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, After Effects
