About Aaron Treadwell

As the CEO of Umatilla-Morrow Head Start, Inc.(UMCHS), I oversee the organization's strategic direction, operations, and performance, which provides early childhood education and family services to low-income communities in Oregon. With over 29 years of work experience in the nonprofit sector, I have a strong background in business and social sciences and a management certificate from UCLA Anderson School of Management. I have successfully led the development and evaluation of proposals, contracts, and projects that align with the mission and vision of UMCHS and the federal and state regulations and standards. I have also partnered with various stakeholders, including board members, staff, funders, and community leaders, to foster collaboration and trust and enhance the quality and impact of our services. My core competencies include strategic planning, financial management, program development, human resources, and leadership. I am passionate about improving the lives and outcomes of children and families in our region, and I am committed to advancing the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion in our organization and beyond.
