Born and raised in the vibrant city of Racine, WI, Aaron James Washington, Sr. embarked on a journey marked by passion, education, and a profound commitment to music, education, and technology. In August 1990, his family's move to Atlantic City, NJ, set the stage for a life rich in experiences and accomplishments. A proud graduate of Atlantic City High School, Aaron pursued his academic aspirations at Johnson C. Smith University, where he majored in Music Education. Later, he earned his BA in Music Education from Richard Stockton College, setting the foundation for an illustrious career in both music and education. Furthering his academic pursuits, Aaron holds a Master of Arts in Instructional Technology and a Master of Arts in Advanced Study in Educational Administration/Supervision, both earned at Stockton University. Aaron's musical journey commenced in 1993, and since then, he has left an indelible mark on the industry. Having traveled nationally and internationally with esteemed secular and Christian music groups, including collaborations with artists such as Lauren Hill, Donald Lawrence, and Craig Hayes, Aaron's musical prowess gained notable recognition. In a pivotal moment, his production was featured in the Jamie Foxx film "BAIT" in underscoring the depth of his creative contributions. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Technology for 21st Century Education, an internationally renowned Comprehensive STEM Company, Aaron has played a pivotal role in shaping educational landscapes. His influence extends across various regions, including Alaska, the Lower 48, the US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Singapore, Korea, and the Jamaican Ministry of Education. Dedicated to the advancement of education, Aaron has served as the Executive Director of the George Washington Carver Education Foundation. With over two decades of experience in education, he has worn various hats, from being a Teacher and Curriculum Supervisor to a Dean of Students in the State of New Jersey. His exemplary contributions were acknowledged by local, state, and national legislators when he was honored as "Teacher of the Year (2012)" and "Educational Service Professional of the Year (2018)." Beyond his professional pursuits, Aaron is a multifaceted individual, seamlessly blending his roles as a gifted musician, Pastor, Preacher, and Teacher. At New Shiloh Baptist Church in Atlantic City, he serves as the Outreach Pastor, Minister of Music, and Media Ministry Lead.
