About Aaron Webster

Experienced Manager with an extensive history of working in the retail and finance industry over the last twenty years. Versatile professional focused on team building and maintaining a team with a commitment to excellence and personal growth within their career. I believe when you invest in your team and work to build future leaders you have employees that have a stronger bond and a personal investment in the company. I work to recognize their accomplishments and challenge them to go above and beyond. Some of the most rewarding moments of my career have been seeing my teams accomplish challenging goals and individual associates’ careers progress to the point where they became my peer, as manager and leader themselves. Outside of work I have strong community ties, investment, and involvement as a volunteer with several organizations, fundraisers, coaching youth sports teams, serving as a director or volunteer for races, and serving within our church. I’m very active in fitness and running events throughout the state and a wide variety of youth sports. Because of my dedication to my community and family commitments I am not willing to relocate. I moved dozens of times in my youth as my parents were transferred from one spot to another and never had any sense of a place to call home or time to establish any roots. While those moves provided me the opportunity to see the country and gave me strong social skills and the ability to quickly create personal connections, it isn’t something I would ever do to my kids. I don’t believe that moving, forgoing commitments and investments, and requiring my wife and family to make significant sacrifices to their careers, schools, and teams should be required to show dedication to a company and willingness to do more to grow within a company. There is a growing trend across many industries, retail included, that have an unspoken move out to move up or a required relocation obligation. I don’t believe that to be in the associates’ best interest and long term it isn’t always great for the company. I believe more corporations could look at employees as local “business owners” who have a need to succeed and do well while also having pride in their work and deep commitment to being the best representative of the company they can be. I have a Bachelor of Science focused in Business Management/History from Arkansas State University.
