About Aaron Whitehead

Back in 2017 I was working full time as a server struggling to pay for a college degree I wasn't even sure I wanted. I was studying to become an actuary, had a good GPA, and had passed two of the exams from the Society of Actuaries (Financial Mathematics and Probability). Well on my way to a lucrative career, I still wasn't happy. While I love math, stats, and numbers in general, the work I was doing wasn't fulfilling my need to problem solve and create new things. I decided to quit my job, change my career path and move across the country to Arizona. I started to code in my free time and I have been hooked ever since. One of the first things I did when I moved here was research how to get a quality education in a tech field, and I dove head first into Thinkful's Engineering Immersion program. Fast forward through years and here I am, a developer who still itches to learn something new each and every day.
