I recently won 2nd place for the Lucille Morgan Wilson Award in the 2025 Lyrical Iowa Poetry Contest. Recent publications include: Quibble Lit, A Thin Slice of Anxiety, Fevers of the Mind, and Lyrical Iowa. My poems have appeared in journals and anthologies throughout the U.S, Canada, Scotland, England, Austria, Australia, and Nigeria. I have also served as contributing editor, poetry editor, and interview editor for various literary publications. I have a variety of tutoring and mentoring experience with non-profit organizations as well as many years of volunteer experience. I have worked with children as a coach and umpire for many years.
