Hello! I'm Aarya Raghava, and I'm on a mission to turn my passion for museums and cultural heritage into a fulfilling career. With a deep appreciation for the preservation and celebration of our shared history and art, I am actively seeking opportunities in the museum sector where I can contribute my skills, knowledge, and enthusiasm. About Me: I hold an MSc in Collecting and Provenance in International Contexts from the University of Glasgow, where I honed my critical thinking, research, and analytical abilities, all of which are crucial in understanding and curating meaningful museum experiences. My academic background, combined with my unwavering curiosity, has driven me to explore various facets of the museum world. Professional Highlights: During my Masters, I also started working as an auction viewer at McTears Auction House in Glasgow, Scotland where I have experience working and handling objects closely, along with experience in customer care and customer service. I continue to work at McTears part-time. My Vision: I believe that museums are not just repositories of artefacts but also dynamic spaces for education, inspiration, and inclusivity. My goal is to contribute to the creation of immersive and thought-provoking exhibitions that engage diverse audiences and tell compelling stories. In the ever-evolving field of museology, I am committed to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends. I am currently looking for a job in the fields of archives, curatorship and writing object catalogues.
