I am a grant development professional with over 15 years' experience in scientific research (MSc, PhD, PDF, Scientist) and research administration. As the funding and awards specialist at Unity Health - a network of University of Toronto-affiliated teaching hospitals - I am dedicated to increasing funding and resources that support scientific excellence, and enhance the national and international recognition of researchers at Unity Health. I accomplish these objectives by providing strategic and developmental support of competitive, high-value funding proposals and award nominations that align with Unity Health’s strategic goals. By forging strong collaborative partnerships with researchers, leadership, and the hospital foundations at Unity Health, I leverage their content expertise to submit high-quality grant applications, award nominations, and funding proposals. My unwavering dedication positions me as a trusted and proactive partner, facilitating the advancement of world-class research and innovation at Unity Health. I support a variety of programs across the Canadian tri-council (CIHR, SSHRC) and beyond (CRC, CFI, CERC, NFRF), including PCORI, Brain Canada, Heart & Stroke, NIH, Horizon Europe, and various international opportunities.
