About Aashish Mehra

I have a Ph.D in Management with UGC-NET qualification and an MBA (Mkg.) having a total of 29+ years of experience (17+ yrs. teaching+12 yrs. Corporate). Being awarded five times in my academic career to date including the 'The Case Award (for Interdisciplinary Scope)' at IIM Raipur in 2014 & the 'Young Researcher Award' for Best Thesis at Loyola College, Trivendrum in 2015 I have more than 40 publications to my credit (including one in Elsevier - Category 'A' in ABDC list, one in T&F - Category 'B' ranked journal & one in Category 'C' ranked journals - EEMCS - Emerald). Recently, one of my papers has been published in TFSC (Elsevier)- Category 'A' ranked Journal in the ABDC list, also ranked in UK-ABS Level 3, listed in SSCI and Scopus (Q1) with having an Impact Factor of 13.3, a high rated Journal; and many such publications are in the pipeline. Apart from my experiences from various academic assignments in my previous jobs and current administrative assignments I have a keen interest in case writing and teaching methodology and have published ten case studies till now including the one in EEMCS (Emerald), the 'Awarded' one at GMCS-2014, IIM Raipur & one for which I was an invited speaker at IIM Bangalore at the 40th Anniversary Conference of the Case Centre, UK in 2014. I have also Chaired sessions at various International Conferences including IIM Calcutta (2016), JNU (2014), and SBSC (DU) in 2020, and have been invited to deliver Keynote speeches & Guest lectures several times in reputed b-schools. I am a reviewer in some very reputed journals like JRCS (Elsevier), JOBR (Elsevier), IJCS (Wiley), International Journal of Emerging Markets (Emerald), JMC (T&F), etc. I have developed various modules (curriculum) in the marketing area on the CBCS pattern of UGC at TMU, Moradabad, and have successfully organized 5 National/ International Conferences and workshops. I have been teaching subjects like Marketing Management, Consumer Behaviour, Services Marketing, Sales and Distribution Management, Retail Management, and Research Methodology to MBA students regularly and have also taught important courses like Business Communication, Business Environment, Management Concepts and Practices, Strategic Management, etc. My research interests include Consumer Behaviour, Online Marketing, Service Quality, Positioning, and Social Entrepreneurship. I am a passionate teacher and believe that the right blend of experiential learning & OBE through optimization of curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular will develop great future managers.
