About Aashish Tamsya

iOS Engineer with 9+ years of experience building enterprise-grade mobile apps in both iOS and Android, with a current focus on Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and MVVM architecture. I’ve worked on apps for leading global clients including Shell, GEHC, ICICI, HealthKart, and SANOFI, delivering high-performance and user-centric mobile experiences. Currently contributing to PayPay, Japan’s leading mobile payment platform, as a Senior iOS Engineer at PayPay Corporation, I have been enhancing code robustness and security by applying iOS security fixes across the Consumer App. I have also led the development of key UI components, including Mini-app, profile image cropping, and payment selection features. These enhancements have resulted in an impressive crash-free rate of 99.9% and a stellar average review rating. Past leadership roles include heading the mobile team at Effective Digital, driving architecture, TDD, CI/CD pipelines, and successful App Store launches (e.g, GreenOrbit in 2019) and Koder Inc, where I help build world-class in-house products and SDKs. I’m passionate about crafting scalable, performant apps that solve real-world problems.
