Aashna Diwan | Technical Communications Engineer | PCB Engineer | EDA Information Developer I am a Technical Communications Engineer II at Cadence Design Systems, where I specialize in developing structured documentation and providing engineering assistance for PCB design and Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools. My work focuses on bridging the gap between technical development and user implementation, ensuring that engineers, hardware designers, and product teams can effectively utilize advanced design tools. With a M.Tech in Radio Frequency & Microwave Engineering and a B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering, I have hands-on experience in PCB layout design, high-speed routing, signal integrity analysis, and design for manufacturability (DFM). Alongside technical documentation, I actively contribute to PCB engineering workflows, tool testing, and process optimization to enhance design accuracy and efficiency. Key Areas of Expertise: PCB Design & Engineering – Working with PCB layout tools, schematic capture, component placement, high-speed signal routing, and design validation. EDA Tool Documentation – Creating comprehensive user manuals, SDK documentation, whitepapers, and technical guides for PCB and IC design software. Technical Process Optimization – Collaborating with R&D, product management, and CFTs to refine design workflows and enhance tool usability. Simulation & Analysis – Supporting design verification, signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal analysis documentation for PCB systems. Before joining Cadence, I worked at Accenture, Successive Technologies and UST Global, gaining experience in software development documentation, technical content structuring, and product communication strategies. My combined expertise in PCB engineering and information development enables me to deliver high-quality documentation that enhances product adoption and streamlines design processes.
