About Abayomi Ayodele

I began my career with being fascinated by how products move from concept to market, focusing on conceptualization, production, supply chain, and marketing. While interning on the production floor of a multinational FMCG, I deepened my understanding of engineering production. During that time, I participated in a global business case competition, which involved working with company senior executives to solve real-world business challenges, an experience that broadened my business and strategic thinking.Next, I transitioned to an experiential marketing agency, where I curated marketing experiences that resonated deeply with target audiences. This role sharpened my ability to align product and service messaging with audience passion points.The rise of the tech industry introduced me to product management, a field that perfectly combines strategy, task and process management, communication, operations, and marketing. I found it to be a natural fit for my diverse skill set.Along the way, I served as Executive Assistant to the Country Director of a multinational OEM, where I gained insights into sales, account management, and client relationship management. I also held a brief role as Executive Assistant to the CEO of a Lagos-based venture capital firm, which gave me valuable exposure to fundraising and building strategic partnerships.Most recently, I have led multiple cross-functional teams to deliver user-focused websites and fintech apps, effectively communicating product value to target customers while consistently meeting deadlines and budgets, resulting in high client satisfaction.This journey has solidified my vision of wanting to engineer a better world to live in, whether through improved systems, processes, human connection, and the organizations and communities I serve.
