Certified Public Health Inspector CPHI(C). Conestoga college alumni. Obtained a Bachelor’s degree of Environmental Public Health at Conestoga College. University of Ontario Institute of Technology alumni. Obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences with a specialization in Public Health. Knowledgeable in a wide range of public health topics including but not limited to: epidemiology, social marketing for public health, health promotion, infection prevention and control, food-borne, water-borne, vector-borne diseases, air and water quality, environmental toxicology, infectious and chronic disease pathology, health information systems, health policy, social determinants of health, microbiology, and global health. I am fluent in English and French. I possess strong leadership skills in a team setting as well as resourcefulness and time-management skills to work independently. I always wear a smile. I am an encouraging and friendly person with a positive attitude. I am passionate about helping people and keeping people safe from potential health hazards. I have a love for the environment and nature. For this reason, public health science and environmental public health are the perfect fit for me. I thoroughly enjoy the great outdoors, hiking, camping, canoeing, kayaking and swimming. I also enjoy spending my time with my pets, friends and family.
