I have recently completed a one-year contract as an administrative assistant at Grounded Governance Ltd, a consulting firm that specialises in governance and strategy for social enterprises and non-profits. There, I honed my skills in office administration, organisation, and multitasking, as well as earned a human resources certification from LinkedIn and a certificate in Business Administration and Management from the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand. Before joining Grounded Governance, I worked as a store manager and seamstress at The Napery by Pacific Linen, a retail store that sells haberdashery and clothing, as well as offers dry-cleaning and clothing repair services. I managed the daily operations of the store, handled the inventory and sales, and performed sewing and alterations for customers. I also have experience in retail sales and hospitality, working at Remarkable Sweet Shop, Wet Jacket Wines, and Kinross. I enjoy working in customer-facing roles, as well as in the warehouse and packing. I am passionate about delivering quality products and services, and creating a positive and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues. I am eager to learn new skills and apply my existing ones in a dynamic and diverse team.
