About Abbie Schuster

I have been fishing for as long as I can remember. I learned from my father in the rivers and streams of New England and off the coast of Martha's Vineyard. My career as a professional guide started right after college and I've been expanding my skills and the trips I offer ever since. Today, I am a fly fishing addict and all-around outdoor adventure enthusiast. I love providing an experience for my clients and teaching them. Fly fishing is a learned skill that takes patience and time, but anyone can do it regardless of their age or physical abilities. There's a timeless art to learning to cast, learning the flies, and being out on the water surrounded by the beauty of nature. Most of my trips are catch and release because of my commitment to environmentally sustainable practices. I've traveled to DC and spoken with congressmen about regulations to protect fisheries and plan to continue my advocacy work. When I'm not running trips or managing my business, I head into the outdoors for even more fishing and yoga. I also like to ski, climb, and explore new places.
