About Abbie Thyne

There is one question that I always get asked as a manager, especially in customer service - why should I work for you? What makes you come to work everyday? My answer is simple, the team. I have worked at two travel companies in Vancouver and the most important reason for working is finding people you enjoy working with and so you can succeed together. I've been lucky enough to work with people from all over the world; I enjoy learning from different people's cultures and experiences. Travel is my passion and I have always gravitated towards this industry for the countries you visit and the people you meet along the way. My leadership and coaching skills have given me the opportunity to progress in my career into leadership due to my hard work and dedication. I enjoy turning up everyday for a new challenge with a positive and open mind set. The past 7 years in customer service has given me the opportunity to thrive working in a fast-paced environment under pressure of tight deadlines. There is need for innovative, problem solving and high attention to detail in order to succeed. For me it is so important to always keep learning and finding the passion to move forward and succeed in the next exciting project.
