I am a Juris Doctor candidate at the University of Mississippi School of Law with experience in the entertainment and sports industries. I aspire to build a career in sports, entertainment, and media law after graduation. I have always been known for my leadership abilities, confidence, adaptability, humor, discipline, and honesty, as demonstrated through my participation in the Miss Mississippi USA competition and other experiences. I am currently seeking a summer 2025 legal internship and am open and available to relocate for this opportunity! I am currently a Labor Relations Intern at The Walt Disney Company, where I assist with labor and employment matters for one of the world's largest entertainment companies. In this role, I conduct legal research, analyze collective bargaining agreements, and support labor negotiations and dispute resolution efforts. Previously, I worked as a Legal Intern for International Paper, a Fortune 500 company, where I gained valuable corporate law experience. Additionally, I have over two years of experience as a paralegal/legal assistant at Tannehill Carmean, PLLC, a law firm specializing in criminal defense, personal injury, real estate, wills and estates, and debt collection. Before my legal experiences, I worked in college athletics as a football recruiter for Ole Miss Athletics, where I led a team focused on recruiting high school athletes, coordinating official and unofficial visits, and assisting with team travel and expenses. My passion for helping others achieve their dreams is what fueled my love for this role. I have held positions as a resident assistant, hostess, server, substitute teacher, academic tutor, and lifeguard. These diverse roles have honed my problem-solving skills, adaptability, and ability to thrive under pressure. I excel at meeting stringent deadlines, navigating evolving challenges, and maintaining composure in high-stress situations—skills that have been invaluable in both legal and entertainment settings.
