About Abby Glenn

My experience in nonprofit management has allowed me to focus on three key areas necessary to fundraising activities; major event planning, marketing and communication, and stewardship development. MAJOR EVENT PLANNING: From private events for 20 people, to guest lists of I enjoy all aspects of major event planning. I am a firm believer in the “make a list and check it 10 times” mentality. The exhilaration of an event drives my focus on continual growth and improvement. MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS: I am a strong proponent of growing brand awareness as an organization must be able to proudly explain it’s mission and vision before it can provide support to the community and receive support in return. By focusing on a variety of communication tactics including direct brand management, PR, online and traditional media relations and social media platforms, I seen steady grown in my organization’s presence in the community. STEWARDSHIP DEVELOPMENT: Donor cultivation is an absolutely necessary area of nonprofit development. Whether it’s a quick email to engage a donor in an organizational activity or sending tax receipts and thank you letters, it is crucial to capture donor attention. I enjoy approaching each challenge with the determination to succeed. When tackling a new project, I determine the goals that need to be met and a timeline to achieve them. I drive action based on the expectation to succeed all while finding an innovative and creative approach that makes an impression.I am excited to use my skills to promote and better the organizations in which I am associated. I am happy to assist other organizations that are in need of my skills or time.
