About Abby Griffis

Hi! I’m a double major in General Biology and Accounting at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga- a combination that perfectly matches my passion for numbers and making a positive impact on the world. I’m especially excited about the world of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and how smart financial leadership can drive real sustainability efforts. My hands-on experiences- from supporting conservation work at the Tennessee Aquarium to managing fast-paced operations in Publix’s cash office- have helped me build strong skills in organization, teamwork, and mission-driven work. Living with cystic fibrosis has made me resilient, resourceful, and always ready to tackle challenges head-on (with plenty of determination and a little bit of sparkle ). I’m planning to pursue my master’s degree and CPA certification after graduation to further my path toward helping companies do good while doing well. If you're passionate about ESG, sustainability, finance, or just love connecting over big ideas- I'd love to chat! Let’s connect!
