With 30+ years experience in clinical leadership and advocacy Abby is bringing her skills to the education sector to promote lifelong learning, especially for under-represented groups in our communities. As an experienced strategic thinker and implementer, Abby is able to communicate with stakeholders across all systems using messaging that is most relevant for target audiences to achieve commercial success and improve outcomes. As a registered Nurse, who has held senior leadership positions in clinical, not-for-profit and commercial organisations Abby understands the critical importance of understanding the pathways to inform policy, improve stakeholder engagement and deliver successful outcomes. Using collaboration, innovation and communication Abby established Ireland’s first Participant Advisory Board in genomics research, bringing together advocacy leaders from across Ireland and Europe.
