About Abby Martin

I am extremely interested and passionate about psychology. I have great research skills, which is reflected through achieving a merit in my masters degree, where my dissertation explored the effects of social media on mood, portion size and emotional eating in men. I was able to enhance my data analysis abilities through using SPSS and Microsoft excel, as well as increasing skills and knowledge of data collection. I also achieved a Second Class Honours, Division One in my undergraduate degree, with a research project focusing on the effects of individual differences on the attribution of blame within a ghosting scenario. I consider myself to be a friendly and outgoing individual, with a real passion for helping others. I have excellent communication skills and am prepared to work hard to gain experience. I am actively seeking further experience in psychology, as I am aspiring towards completing a PhD within the psychology field in the near future.
