About Abby Williams

I listened to them as a child, flipping through the pages I could not yet read. I heard them flow from the young minds sharing the adventures of the make believe as I curled up in a sleeping bag and let my imagination take hold. I read them as a lost and curious teen, not fully understanding the lessons each hard-back cover contained. I’m surrounded by them – even now. I watch them as they stretch across big screens with dimmed lights and crowded seats. I read them in all-caps and boldface fonts as the headlines expose the realities of a broken society. Stories – whether fact or fiction – have become a part of my story, allowing them to take me places I only long to go or to live the experiences I have not yet been acquainted with. Whether through written words, human voices, or moving pictures, there are stories everywhere. I want to help tell them.
