About Abdallah Gana

Senior Nuclear Chemist Tech. with 8+ years experience in the commercial nuclear power industry. I support the safe operation of the St. Lucie Nuclear Plant to provide clean and reliable energy to FP & L customers by-Monitoring primary and secondary plant chemistry to ensure all parameters are within license specifications. In return, this will provide long term asset preservation for the company-Providing continuous support to the plant during refueling and forced outages to minimize off-line time and profit loss to the company-Responding to emergencies to protect the public during hurricanes and nuclear accidents. Some of my achievements at my current and my previous roles include-Completed my initial nuclear chemistry tech training in 6 months vs an average of 3 years in the department-Completed my initial training as a junior tech in 1.5 years vs a 3-year average time-Completed my MBA in 2023 from the University of Florida. Throughout my graduate classes and my time at the company I have developed strong interest in corporate finance. For that reason, I am now a candidate for a Master of Science in Finance (MSF) at Georgetown University, class of 2026. My end goal is to leverage my hands-on experience in the energy sector with my MBA and anticipated MSF to pursue a career in corporate finance. Outside of work I enjoy sailing, diving and motorcycle riding.
