About Abdul Basir Rasa

Specialist in project implementation, management, youth development, team building, networking and governance with more than 15 years of experience in international NGOs. Varied and extensive skills in managing development projects and programs, extensive field experience & team leadership, monitoring and evaluation. Significant expertise in social policy, advocacy, engagement, outreaching and community development with a focus on good governance, social inclusion and capacity building. I have an ability to steer and strive for optimum outcomes in a results-orientated environment without compromising on the quality of the deliverable. Dual degrees degrees on Law and Political Silence and Business Management and Administrative, General. And obtained a Diploma in Chemistry from Baghlan Teacher Training College. My degree and diploma evaluated by WES and got the Canadian higher education credential. I have completed one year leadership and management course with UNITAR. Participated various short times training/workshops and achieved certification. Specific experience in reporting and hard communications with different donors, grant management, donor relations at the strategic level, having good knowledge of linkage building, community engagement, outreaching and integrations between different development sectors considering gender equality and equity, giving priorities to internationally accepted terms and cognition on gender issues.
