Over eight (8) years of experience in Canada as a mechanical engineer in the field of oil, gas, SAGD & Thermal well pads and petrochemicals. Have extensive working experience in EPCM and equipment maintenance. Experienced in technical reviews, change management, project scoping, scheduling, field construction, and reporting. Hands on experience on equipment maintenance, design, specification/procurement, and construction management of projects. • Expertise in static and rotating equipment maintenance, design coordination and construction of oil & gas facilities, plant modification, building structures, pipelines and well tie-ins. • Strong experience of field/construction support including with P & ID’s, piping isometrics, bill of materials, construction materials, construction work package assembly, RFI’s, as built preparation, field verification drawings, markups etc. possess a strong “can do” attitude. • Developed and prepared datasheets, drawings, calculations, technical bid evaluations, material requisitions (RFQ’s), BOM, and technical specifications of mechanical equipment. • Experienced in development of project scope, design base memorandum, fabrication and engineering work packages. • Managed and participated in HAZOP and 3D model review meetings. • Reviewed and technical evaluation submitted by vendors and suppliers. • Interface with the Project Management Team (PMT), QA and QC department and other engineering disciplines to ensure completion of project on schedule. • Managed construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of the projects. • Proficient in performing RCA and failure investigations of static and rotating equipment. • Effective organizational and excellent communication & technical report writing skills. • Coordinate with safety authorities for design approval and with other engineering disciplines. Conversant with CSA, ASME, API, ANSI, NACE codes / standard and computer-based design and project planning software. Strong organizational, management, leadership, interpersonal and time management skills coupled with strong analytical abilities and result-oriented approach.
