In 2016 I graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a degree In Management Information Systems. During my BBA studies I made the Dean’s List for four consecutive semesters, and I completed my degree with a 3.6 GPA. My coursework included intensive classes that covered Oracle database applications, data communications fundamentals, managerial and financial accounting, HTML website design, and strategic management methodologies. Over the past two years I’ve leveraged my undergraduate education in my work as a Managing Consultant, an Accounts Receivable Associate, and Tax Consultant. While I was still in school I assisted students in the computer center, and provided one-on-one tutoring sessions for various topics. As a Managing Consultant I was responsible for analyzing alerts from the Office of Foreign Assets Control using various business intelligence tools, and analyzing the content of SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications) messages. I have expert knowledge of banking regulations: Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, Know Your Customer (KYC), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR), and Currency Transaction Report (CTR). I additionally have strong knowledge of various software systems, including Dow Jones, Lexis Nexus, and World-Check.
