I am a dedicated advocate for education, empowerment, gender equality, and leadership for girls and young women, with over 19 years of experience in results-based program management. My extensive background includes overseeing programs in formal and non-formal education, adolescent girls' nutrition, early recovery, child protection, good governance, and integrity. I excel at managing projects within scope, timeline, and budget, and am adept at handling donor relations, communication, and stakeholder coordination. My strengths include building proactive and positive relationships with stakeholders and leading teams of staff, interns, volunteers, and civil society partners throughout the program cycle. My expertise spans data collection and gap analysis, research, evidence-building for advocacy, needs assessments, program design, implementation, monitoring, and reporting. I am also passionate about creating compelling social media content and human-interest stories that highlight lessons learned for effective program implementation. Throughout my career with humanitarian and development partners, including the UN, INGOs, and local NGOs, I have facilitated access to quality primary and early childhood education for over children. I have provided drinking water, basic health facilities and sustainable livelihoods to more than households, and assisted + public officials and girl guide volunteer leaders in enhancing their capacities in education management, girls' nutrition, good governance, accountability, transparency, and integrity in Sri Lanka. Fluent in Sinhala, Tamil, and English, and a qualified Sworn Translator (Tamil/English), I am committed to expanding my linguistic skills and learning new languages.
