Background

About Abdullah Elsherif

During the past 5 years, I have been not only working on my academic performance but also on increasing my experience in engineering and non-engineering fields. Although I joined BUE with a full academic scholarship-as a reward for my superiority in Thanaweya Amma-which did not require high GPA or grade, but I could keep my academic performance as high as possible and was one of the first class during all years of study with a GPA of nearly 3.6. In addition, I could manage to be involved in many trainings in diverse engineering fields such as Automotive, HVAC, and heavy equipment. These trainings, as well as the advanced projects in the university, enhanced my technical skills. Moreover, I worked as a private instructor for nearly 4 years where I helped younger engineering students in AUC and BUE to pass their modules such as calculus, physics, and mechanics. Additionally, at the biggening of 2019, me and my brother initiated a food distribution company in Ismailia at which we lead a group of employees to distribute food products in the city. This experience enhanced my abilities to deal with different types of people as well as my leadership skills. At the moment, I am a technical advisor at GE transportation, a Wabtec company, which is responsible for maintenance of Egypt's new fleet of locomotives.
