About Abdullah Karbanee

I am a self-driven, calm and confident individual. My current work involves a high-pressure environment where I work on and tackle complex tasks daily, and I have thrived in such a space. The potential for creating innovations; the complicated and interesting aspects of software development; and the challenges that come with the profession are all factors that have attracted me to the field. This investment in the field was what led me to choose to major in Computer Science during my studies, and I managed to pass my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees Cum Laude. This is exactly what I found when I left the academic space and started working in 2022. My current work entails a high-pressure environment where I worked on and tackled complex tasks daily. I joined the Digital Payments team at Electrum, and I worked with a team on building a new payments platform using tools such as Java, Docker, Kubernetes and AWS. During this time I was afforded the opportunities of being a Technical Lead on 2 projects during which time I honed my project management, analytical, development and communication skills.
