With over 16 years of experience in creative design and development, I am a seasoned Art Director with a passion for problem-solving through design. My career began in fashion development and design, where I spent almost 8 years at Woolworths South Africa HQ. There, I developed boys’ fashion, men’s formalwear, and managed my own area within menswear, honing my skills in trend analysis, product development, and brand management. Transitioning from fashion, I expanded my creative expertise by developing brands and successful businesses on the side, and working as a Senior Freelance Graphic Designer at Superbalist. I then gained 7 years of above-the-line art direction experience, working with top-tier brands to develop impactful creative campaigns. I served as a Creative Director at The Fix (The Foschini Group), managing production, and later as Senior Art Director at 99c, where I collaborated with a major European retailer with over stores across Europe. As an Art Director, I evolved by taking on increasingly complex projects and leadership roles. My experience spans from conceptualizing and executing creative campaigns to managing large-scale productions and cross-functional teams. Recently, I had the opportunity to return to Woolworths as a Senior Art Director, where I can leverage my extensive experience and creativity to deliver exceptional results for my clients. With a deep love for art, fashion, food, music, gaming, and sport, I am confident that I can bring a unique perspective to any project I undertake.
