About Abdullah Mansoor

An accomplished civil engineer, having 22 years of experience (Australia, UAE, and Pakistan) in the Design and RSA of roads and highways, and involved in the design and build projects, which includes 12 years as a senior lead road design engineer role. Outcome-focused and target-oriented team player as well as have the ability to work individually on projects when required. Currently, i am working as Lead road design engineer for TfNSW Technical section, I have worked as Project manager on number of the road design and supervision projects. I manage multiple design projects, attend meetings with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, and deliver projects on time. In my previous jobs, I have worked as a Lead / senior road design engineer with leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancies such as Stantec(Cardno), Parsons, Mouchel (WSP), Capita, Jacobs, etc, as well as worked in Client-side for Abu Dhabi Municipality Infrastructure design and Traffic section in position of Design Engineer and as Road safety engineer. I have designed urban and rural roads, interchanges and intersections, city and local roads utilizing road design software such as OpenRoads, Mx Road, Civil 3d, AutoCAD, and Auto-Turn. I have also designed heavy-duty port pavements for Abu Dhabi ports using Interpave design manual and also for Road authorities' different highway and street pavements (flexible and rigid) using AASHTO pavement design guide. I gained knowledge of different softwares such as Adobe Professional, InDesign and Microsoft Office 365 (word, excel, power point, Teams). I have gained knowledge of different design codes such as Austroads, NSW supplements to Austroads, AASHTO Green book, AASHTO Pavement design guide 1993, AASHTO Guide for the Development of Bicycle Facilities AASHTO Road Side Design Guide edition - 4 (2011), UK-DMRB 2003, BPA- Interpave 2008 heavy duty pavement design manual for ports and other industries, Abu Dhabi QCC infrastructure and RTA Dubai manuals. I am a certified road safety audit Team member from the Abu Dhabi municipality and registered in TfNSW Register of road safety auditors. I was involved in road safety auditing of various projects in Australia, UAE and Pakistan as an observer and Team member. I have Bsc Degree in Civil Engineering, Chartered Professional Civil engineer from Engineers Australia, Certified Professional engineer from Pakistan Engineering Council and Abu Dhabi city municipality.
