Hi, I am Saif a masters graduate in sustainable energy with a background in mechanical engineering. As a Sustainability Associate at elementsix, I have been involved in providing turnkey solutions in sustainability and carbon abatement, promoting resilience against climate threats. My tasks have included conducting full value chain carbon inventorying as per the GHG Protocol and delivering comprehensive carbon footprint reports, preparation of emission reduction strategies for various clients using MACCs, SBTi, I-RECs, and other reduction methods, developing ESG training decks for different clients, and conducting 3rd party reviews for Gold Standard Certification of Energy Projects. During my time as a QA/QC Intern at Hydro Middle East, a company that specializes in rebuilding pumps and manufacturing oil field equipment, I was able to learn new skills and apply them to daily tasks to improve efficiency and productivity. I also improved the documentation process by restructuring the QA/QC reports and created spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting. In addition, I facilitated audit preparation which involved instrument calibration, workshop safety awareness, and training. As an Intern at Agility Logistics, a global logistics and freight forwarding company, my tasks included providing clerical support, addressing routine and special requirements, conducting route assessments for large freight transport, and reporting to my supervisor to receive daily tasks. I exceeded goals through effective task prioritization and great work ethics. Overall, my experience in sustainability, QA/QC, and logistics has allowed me to develop a diverse set of skills and knowledge that I am confident in bringing to any future role. I am passionate about creating sustainable solutions that promote resilience against climate threats and am committed to using my skills to drive meaningful change.
