About Abdullah Serbest

While I always had a tendency towards the artistic, my initial main occupation was not focussed on such an orientation. However, I decided to change this once I realized that creative endeavours gave me the satisfaction I desired from my activities. The combination of my years in LUCA (School of Arts) studying Interior Design and my years as a student Game Graphics Production in Howest Digital Arts and Entertainment helped me to build a strong foundation regarding the core artistic abilities. My goal is to become a real-time effects artist in the gaming industry. It is amazing how the skills attained during these last years all come together in this specialization. One is truly pushed to become creative in finding solutions in whatever way possible. This inherently creative activity also grants me so much joy when the created effect is able to evoke impressions and emotions. I am looking forward to developing my artistic and technical skills in many ways in order to become as fluent as possible in this field.
