Background
About Abdulsalam Hamid Juma
As a community development specialist, my proven experience and expertise is in designing, implementing and thereafter engaging communities and population segments in individual and group capacity building initiatives and activities that effectively respond to community voice and locally identified needs. I work to actively support vulnerable and disadvantaged culturally and linguistically diverse communities including people with disabilities on pathways to self-reliance and empowerment through local community-driven solutions that support them to participate socially and economically. My intervention design approach is to develop projects and programs having a well established theoretical underpinning, evidence base, rationale and logic model; using internationally and nationally recognised frameworks adapted to localised strategies to practically deliver activities of impactful, meaningful and measurable change.
