About Abe Woycke

Data Scientist with 4+ years deploying ML classification models and fraud detection pipelines at a federal agency, with a track record of reducing manual review workload by 40%+ and delivering executive-level analytics at scale. Skilled in Python, SQL, and the full model lifecycle from data acquisition and feature engineering through production deployment and monitoring. Georgia Tech MicroMasters in Analytics. Currently a Data Scientist at USAC, where I support the Universal Service Fund through machine learning, pipeline automation, and data tooling that directly informs program enforcement decisions. I bring an unconventional background - former theatre managing director for nearly a decade - that makes me an unusually effective communicator of complex technical findings to non-technical audiences. I thrive in high-pressure environments, lead with curiosity, and have a strong track record of translating ambiguous business problems into actionable data products. Open to Data Scientist, Senior Analyst, ML Engineer, and Analytics Engineer roles in the DC/NoVA area or remote.
