About Abeer Ansari
I graduated from the University of Toronto with a HBSc in Psychology and Biology. I am an aspiring mental health practitioner and educator with over 3 years of experience working in the mental health and crisis intervention field. I am also deeply passionate about Pediatric Clinical Research and am currently working to further my studies and experiences in the field of health care. As a first-generation immigrant, I have first-hand experienced the mental health challenges that come with being in transition states as a young person, therefore my areas of interest in mental health are newcomer mental health amongst emerging adults.
