I'm a solution-oriented person because I observe the problem and I look for solutions. Solution-oriented people increase the organization's productivity and soon find themselves on the road to advancement. Patience. An impatient person disrupts the workplace, and I'm a patient person. Patience is the ability to bear trials calmly and without complaining. As a patient person, I find the opportunity to do the right thing at the right time. Loyalty. Loyalty is the most essential characteristic I like about a person because I'm loyal to my fellowmen. Elbert Hubbard wrote this classic statement on loyalty years ago. It has never been improved:"IF YOU WORK FOR A MAN, in Heaven’s name, WORK for him. If he pays your wages, which supply your bread and butter, work for him; speak well of him; stand by him and the institution he represents. If put to a pinch, an ounce of loyalty is worth a pound of cleverness. If you must vilify, condemn, and eternally disparage – resign your position. As long as you are part of the institutions, do not condemn it." I'm proud of being loyal to God, to my family, friends, and employers. Contentment. Contentment is contagious. A discontented worker will always seek to spread discontent. I'm fighting every day to be a content person. A satisfied worker can be called upon for extra effort in times of particular need, as I have been called several times. Contentment is an attitude I can choose. When I choose it, I will be the one who will gain, and I have gained a lot. Professionalism. The professional develops a skill until he has achieved the best possible performance. When I hire a janitor, I want one who considers cleanliness the most essential thing in the world. When I hire a salesman, I want a man who believes that sales are essential. I want my people to be the best they can be. A Positive Mental Attitude – I Can Do It. I consider myself a "doer". I'm a very enthusiastic person. Enthusiasm is the feeling that comes from a positive mental attitude. I avoid negativity. I carefully select the books I read and the programs I listen to. I draw close to energy – stimulating people and projects. I'm a happy person with a happy family that loves God and life.
