About Abel Shen

I am currently looking for any opportunities in a professional environment where I will be challenged and may establish strong partnerships with team members, mentors, and clients. I am versatile, trilingual, dependable, and have a strong work ethic. I possess knowledge in a wide range of fields that would be useful to any employer. I graduated with a Graphic Communications Management degree from TMU and a Computer Programming diploma from Seneca College. I am dependable, possess strong customer service skills, and have a multiskilled background with a wide range of skills and knowledge in fields credited to my postsecondary studies. At TMU, I graduated with honors as well as a minor in marketing and a concentration in packaging. In my studies, I gained a lot of knowledge of what the print industry has to offer and expanded my learnings in marketing, accounting, design, packaging, programming, and many other fields. In doing so, I became proficient in working with many Adobe Suite applications and Microsoft Office software products. While I was there, I was also a student-athlete and worked part-time. During this time, I learned a lot about my strengths and weaknesses, gained interpersonal skills, and challenged myself to become a better teammate and individual. At Seneca College, I graduated with honors and was also a student-athlete. While completing my studies during the lockdown due to COVID, I was also working part-time and was recognized as an East Division All-Star in the OCAA and won the All-Canadian-Academic prestigious award. Throughout my studies, I learned a lot about the different programming languages and syntaxes that enabled me to create functional programs, design websites, upload content to servers, use commands to store and manage data, and many other functionalities useful in today's fast-paced technological world.
