About Abhay Singh

As a Senior Risk Officer with Qatar Insurance Group (QIC Group), along with the risk team manage and mitigate enterprise risks for the group's entities across the GCC and global markets. I collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify, assess, and report on risk exposures, and to implement, monitor effective risk management solutions and policies. Before joining QIC Group, I was an Underwriting Officer at Qatar Insurance Company for over three years, where I gained valuable experience in property and commercial risk underwriting, reinsurance placements and accounting, project and operational risk surveys. I also built strong working relationships with local and international brokers to drive profitable business growth and customer satisfaction. I hold a Master of Business Administration in Insurance and Risk Management from National Insurance Academy, Pune, where I learned the theoretical and practical aspects of insurance and risk management, such as insurance accounting, marketing communications, and analytical skills.
