About Abhay Sinha

As the Director General of Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC)-India, I have been entrusted with the task of promoting services, including Healthcare Services, and positioning them as brand "India Serves". I have over 25 years of experience in international trade, policy and strategy, market research, and trade information services, working with various organizations under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, India. I have curated and launched India's marquee pharma exhibition IPHEX, led numerous international outreach initiatives for market development, coordinated with C-DAC for the Central Portal for Authentication and Validation of Exports of drugs from India (i-Veda), and participated in various Joint Working Groups, CEPA negotiations, and Joint Trade Commissions. I have also initiated and conceptualized the first ever Brand India Pharma Campaign in Africa, and launched the Brand India Pharma logo, positioning India as the Pharmacy of the World. My core competencies are strategy, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking, and my mission is to leverage my expertise in services export promotion, international trade regulations, and market development to enhance India's global competitiveness and visibility in the services sector.
