I’ve always believed that behind every number lies a story waiting to be uncovered. Currently diving deep into the world of Business Analytics at Montclair State University as a Graduate Research Assistant has sparked my curiosity about how data influences our everyday choices. One of my favorite projects involved analyzing consumer spending related to pet ownership—who knew that understanding how we care for our furry friends could shed light on our preferences and behaviors? This experience not only honed my analytical skills but also ignited a passion for turning complex data into actionable insights. In my role as an Information Technology Business Analyst at Parking Base, I had the opportunity to spearhead the design and optimization of SQL using BigQuery for model and data validation. By extracting datasets from Google Cloud Platform and performing data cleansing, I achieved a remarkable 15% improvement in data quality. This experience taught me the importance of precision in data management and how it can significantly impact decision-making processes. Outside of work and studies, I enjoy exploring new technologies related to AI and machine learning—there’s always something new on the horizon! Whether it's reading about generative AI fundamentals or experimenting with cloud computing tools, I find joy in learning how these advancements can push boundaries in analytics.
