Staff Electrical Engineer @ Burns and McDonnell Engineering Inc, qualified as Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Utah with specialization in Power systems and 4+ Years of Experience in Building and Process Power Distribution, Low Voltage Systems and Arc Flash & Coordination Studies with adherence to statutory and regulatory specifications. Currently developing Sub-Station Engineering skill and competencies. Enjoys creative problem solving and diversified exposure to multiple projects. Excels in collaborative and interdisciplinary environment. I am interested in concepts like Power system economics, Energy strategy and Planning and Power system infrastructure Design, Planning and Maintenance. Qualified as Licentiate Diploma in Electrical Engineering and Graduating as Electrical Engineer, I started my career as Electrical Design Engineer in DCL group a leading engineering consultancy active in the fields of Power plants and Oil & Gas projects. I have worked for major power expansion projects like 3 x 660 MW, Koradi and 2 x 500 MW Chandrapur for Maharashtra State Generation Company. Thereafter, I have been a part of team that was responsible for designing the Water conveyance system and Petrol Pumps at pan India sites for Reliance Industries. At DCL, I was able to develop various skill sets by executing responsibilities like approval and preparation of technical drawings issued for construction with inter disciplinary design control, Project Co-ordination with client and respective contractors/vendors and preparation of plant layouts as per IEC, and IS codes and standards.
